Your summer sneaker problems solved (part 1)

I needed some new sneakers for a recent trip to Morocco.

I had my heart set on a pair of Vans slip ons.

(That’s how I shop. I have an idea before I go out shopping, which often leads to disappointment)

I popped down to my local mall on the morning we were due to fly out and they were quite expensive. And also not the colour or style that I wanted.

Vans are around £50.

I then dashed into H&M and they did some classic Converse-style white plimsolls for the incredible price of £14.99.

£14.99!

At that price, it was a no-brainer. It was the price more than anything. I couldn’t believe that they could look so classic and be so cheap.

I snapped them up and wore them on the plane to Marrakech.

Here they are after 11 days in the dust of Morocco!

Almost as good as new!

Next time, I’m going to show you the socks I wear with these.
